Alley

The alley does not sleep—it watches.

A corridor carved between crumbling intentions, lit only by the sigh of a flickering bulb. Shadows cling like regret, pooling at the feet of brick walls that lean in with secrets.

Every surface remembers something: a breath held too long, a scream swallowed by stone, the rhythm of footsteps that once dared to pass through.

Here, the night bends. Light is a rumor. Time folds inward.

It is not abandonment that haunts this place—but presence. A presence too still, too knowing.

And in the stillness, a question:

If no one is watching, does the alley become real?
