The latest piece in my ongoing series reimagines public signs as intricate puzzle sculptures. This 3rd installment brings to life a piece of Pittsburgh’s urban landscape—a sign once used to displace homeless individuals from a downtown space. I’ve taken this familiar, yet often overlooked object, deconstructing and reassembling it to reflect the complex stories of those affected. Every rugged edge and raw texture carries traces of its past purpose, now layered with new meaning. Each fragment, once worn and weathered, tells a story of resilience and change in our city.
