Commission an Original Artwork

Custom Artwork Created Around Your Idea, Space, or Story

I accept a limited number of original painting commissions throughout the year. A commission can begin with something very specific—a place, person, memory, color palette, or piece of artwork you already connect with—or simply an idea we develop together.

I work primarily in acrylic on canvas from my Pittsburgh studio, creating one-of-a-kind artwork that reflects my style while giving the finished piece a personal connection to you and the space where it will live.

What Can You Commission?

Commissioned artwork can start in a lot of different places. Sometimes a client comes to me with a very specific idea. Other times they know the feeling, colors, subject, or space they want to work with and we develop the concept together.

Custom Original Paintings

A one-of-a-kind painting created specifically for you, your home, office, or another space. We can work from a preferred size, color palette, existing artwork you connect with, or simply an idea.

Places, Memories & Personal Stories

A meaningful place, memory, relationship, or experience can become the starting point for a painting. I’m interested in translating those personal connections into artwork rather than simply reproducing a photograph.

Portraits & Figurative Work

People, musicians, characters, and other figurative subjects can be incorporated into a commission while still maintaining the color, texture, movement, and style of my existing work.

Pittsburgh & Place-Based Artwork

Pittsburgh bridges, neighborhoods, architecture, landscapes, and other recognizable places can become the foundation for a custom piece created around your own connection to the city.

Something Completely Different

You don’t need to arrive with a finished concept. Some of the most interesting commissions begin with a loose idea and develop through conversation.
