Violet sunflowers sway to the murmurs of a quiet wind, as pale orbs—perhaps dreamers, perhaps nothing more than drifting confections—glide lazily through the ether, searching for songs to devour. The flowers, unaware of the worlds within them, hum in hues only the fences can perceive. Wings unfold from weathered wood as the fences, desperate to shoo the floating wanderers, weave unseen harmonies into the air. Yet the orbs, unfazed by this spectral symphony, continue their silent journey, leaving behind wisps of forgotten sighs, which coil into tiny, jittering cacti.
