Main Street USA – New York City – Manhattanhenge (print)
Twice a year, the city that never stops suddenly does. The sun, usually lost between steel and glass, lines up perfectly with the grid—setting the streets on fire in a golden glow. For a moment, even the taxis pause, and New Yorkers—yes, actual New Yorkers—look up.
It’s nature’s way of reminding the concrete jungle who’s really in charge. A fleeting spectacle, a cosmic wink, and then, just like that, the city snaps back to its usual, glorious chaos.
