About Little Giblets — Colorful Abstract Monster Painting
Nobody invited these little weirdos. They showed up anyway.
Little Giblets is a playful abstract painting by Scott Kowalski, packed with curious characters that seem to have wandered into the same room and immediately forgotten why. A wide-eyed yellow creature leans into the scene. A dark character flashes a toothy pink grin. Smaller shapes peek out between them, looking suspiciously like they know something we don’t.
Against a lively lime-green background, bursts of yellow, red, blue, pink, black, and white create a cheerful commotion. Thick patches of paint, loose outlines, and energetic marks give this peculiar gathering its personality. Some shapes become faces. Others remain happily undecided.
The fun is in finding your own cast of characters. Are they friendly little monsters? Visitors from somewhere strange? The committee responsible for your most questionable ideas? That’s between you and the Giblets.
For anyone drawn to colorful abstract art, unusual characters, and paintings with a sense of humor, Little Giblets offers plenty to look at—and a few things that seem to look back.
